What this contract is for
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The purpose of this sources sought is for market research to gain knowledge of potential sources for future needs including interested small business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. Kansas Air National Guard, McConnell AFB will soon be soliciting for a project to replace six (6) gas meters across the installation. Work shall consist of the following: Remove existing gas meters in Buildings 16, 33, 35, 41, 42, and 48. At all sites, install thermal mass gas flow meter model as follows: Sierra Instruments 620S-BT-L04-M0-ENZ-24V-V3-DD-9-MB-M1 The contractor is to conduct pre-installation site assessments to evaluate existing meter configurations, verify pipe sizing, identify access restrictions, document necessary outage windows, coordinate utility shut offs, and assess current DDC panel locations and protocols. The scope includes provision and installation of dedicated power sources for each meter, physical and software integration with existing DDC systems, pressure testing, commissioning, and site cleanup. Additional information: Coordination with CE will be required for programming and integration with existing DDC system, as well as providing modbus address to the factory prior to ordering. For this requirement, the small business size standard is $19 million for NAICS 238220. In the event small business contractors are not avaialble for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
