What this contract is for
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The purpose of this sources sought is for market research to gain knowledge of potential sources for future needs including interested small business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. Kansas Air National Guard, McConnell AFB, will soon be soliciting for a project for B44 breakroom remodel. Work shall consist of the removal of the old cabinetry in room 103 and room 106 (breakroom) of B44 and the installation of new cabinets, countertops, microwaves, backsplash, a large under-the-counter refrigerator, sink, faucet, countertop water dispenser, and all necessary plumbing to accommodate these installs. The current breakroom was damaged by a water leak and must be replaced. The project shall include the following: Removal of current cabinetry, microwave, and water dispenser. The contractor will be responsible for disposal the old units. Purchase and installation of all materials and products outlined in this summary and laid out in documentation provided. Reference the attached documentation for comprehensive list of materials needed, dimensions, etc. Provide all as-built drawings to the 184th Civil Engineer Squadron Engineering Flight (184 CES/CEN) For this requirement, the small business size standard is $19 million for NAICS 238850. In the event small business contractors are not avaialble for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
