What this contract is for
THIS POSTING WILL SATISFY THE REQUIREMENT OF RFO 5.101, Presolicitation Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for General Construction Services will accomplish a broad range of sustainment, maintenance, repair, alteration/renovation, and minor construction projects affecting real property facilities at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The work performed will be complex in nature, require multiple construction trades, and may require engineering design performed by credentialed professionals. Project execution methods will fall into one of the following classifications. The execution method will be defined in the project documents for each Task Order (TO) under this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quanity (IDIQ) contract. Design Build will include the Contractor providing both the design and construction services for a project; during the Design-Build process, final design solutions are provided by the Contractor, not the Government. The Government will provide a Statement of Work (SOW), drawings, and other preliminary documents to establish requirements from the work to be completed. These documents will be equivalent to a schematic 15% or greater design. When awarded the TO for the project, the Contractor will complete the design to the 100% level to include drawings, specifications, design analysis/narrative, and other documentation as required by the Government. Construction with Limited Design method will include the Government providing the design and the Contractor will further develop portions as required and will provide construction services for the project. This method will be used for non-complex or repetitive work types of projects where design cost and effort is not warranted.
