What this contract is for

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa Southwest Asia (NAVFAC EURAFSWA), Naples, Italy plans to issue a Request for Proposal that will result in the award of one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract for the maintenance dredging of the harbor and access channel areas at Naval Station located in Rota, Spain. The work will include the deposition of dredged materials at an indicated offshore ocean disposal area, and incidental related work. The piers and waterfront at the Naval Station in Rota, Spain shall remain fully operational during the entire dredging period. The Contractor shall conduct his operations so as to cause the least possible interference with normal operations. The NAICS code for this solicitation will be 237990 Harbor Construction This procurement will utilize Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection procedures, requiring the submission of both technical and price proposals. The contract period of performance will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation as well as all notices/amendments related to this solicitation will be posted to the EURONECO/NECO and Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website.
