What this contract is for
P398 Range Improvements and Modernization Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina-FY16 MCON P398, MCRD Parris Island, modernizes the 50 firing lane Inchon Range. The existing range is being demolished entirely and a new range constructed. Includes new impact berm, target berm and butt, side safety berm and new firing range to include new paved firing lines, roads, irrigation system, signage, etc. New facilities include a 111sf Butts Control Building, two (2) 1,436sf each Target Storage Buildings, two (2) 347 sf each small Heads (1-each Male and Female) at the Butt and one (1) each large 1,411 sf Male Head and Female Head at the 300 yard line. Additional site improvements include a 66 space parking lot, perimeter access roads, new water, new sanitary sewer (small sewage lift station included), storm water collection and management systems, and new power and communications distribution systems. Allowances are included for ordinance scanning of entire site, and allowance for potential ordinance removals.
