THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors that the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction Camp Lejeune intends to solicit bids and award a firm-fixed price contract to complete the project titled Hobucken and Holly Ridge Tower Demolition. A sources sought notice was posted on 22 June 2018 under solicitation N40085�18-B-6192 to determine availability and capability of businesses to perform the requirement. Based on market research results, this procurement will be solicited as a small business set�aside. NAVFAC Mid�Atlantics Office of Small Business Programs concurs with the determination to solicit as a small business set�aside. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and removal of one, approximately 200’ tall steel, guyed communication tower, one, approximately 200’ tall steel trussed communication tower and associated foundations. This work shall be completed within 125 days of the effective award date of the contract. The procurement method to be utilized is FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and the estimated cost for this procurement is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is solicited as a small business set-aside and is therefore subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.219-6. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238910 and the annual size standard is $15,000,000.00. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract.
