What this contract is for

This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-award synopsis for the Maintenance and Repair Multiple Award Construction Contracts primarily at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina and surrounding areas. The work includes, but is not limited to, a diverse range of general maintenance and repair construction services for small work requirements of a one-time nature, typically issued to correct or repair situations including, but not limited to, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, civil, grounds, road, pavement work, communication systems, new construction, demolition flooring, painting etc. Project size is estimated to be between $5,000 - $150,000, but the Government may elect to issue projects of a lower or higher dollar value. Types of buildings and facilities include administrative, industrial, warehouses, maintenance, communications, schools/training/education, personnel support, recreational, food services, training areas/ranges, roads, systems, utility infrastructure, etc. Work under this contract will be primarily performed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune (including the New River Air Station). However, some work could be located in other areas within NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic’s AORs, including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and West Virginia.
