PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS REGIONAL PAINTING AND WALL COVERING FOR THE HAMPTON ROADS AREA (N40085-18-R-1112) This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Regional Painting and Wall Covering contract for the Hampton Roads, Virginia, Area of Responsibility. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA, is seeking to identify eligible 8(a) firms capable of work including, but not limited to, providing interior and exterior painting; removal and installation of vinyl wall covering; sandblasting; water blasting; lead base paint abatement, and other various types of maintenance repairs and preparations associated with painting and wall covering. Other incidental type work associated with painting and wall covering is included and may be ordered for industrial, commercial, and residential locations. The work is located at the located in the Hampton Roads Area of Virginia, to include Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Norfolk, VA; Naval Base Norfolk, Norfolk, VA; Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA; Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA; Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, Yorktown, VA; and Naval Support Activity Norfolk, Norfolk, VA.
