What this contract is for
“Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.” The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to make award to Time Manufacturing Company (CAGE: 0D7C9) for the purchase and install of Left CAT-Track P/N 100518-1 and Right CAT-Track P/N 100517-1 due to being the only source capable of being able to provide the parts and perform the install. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement.
