What this contract is for

The purpose of Amendment No. 0001 is to provide additional information to all prospective offerors. This amendment incorporates the attached building diagrams identifying the locations where asphalt repair/replacement and ceiling repair/replacement are required under this solicitation. The attached diagrams are hereby made part of the solicitation and shall be used by offerors in preparing their proposals. Offerors are responsible for reviewing all information contained in this amendment and ensuring their proposals reflect the requirements identified in the attached diagrams. Except as expressly modified by this amendment, all other terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements of Solicitation No. 1605C4-26-R-00018 remain unchanged and in full force and effect. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), on behalf of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), has a need for A&CC Asphalt & Sealing, in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The required work shall be complete within 90 days of the start of the work.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
