What this contract is for
NOTE July 13, 2026 - This amendment adds a Q&A document and and extends the offical response date to July 22, 2026. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12445526Q0075 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Forinash Fencing Installation on the Monongahela National Forest. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. All Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) at time of submission of a quote. Contractors are responsible for following all submission instructions located in the solicitation and to ensure delivery of all required documents by the date and time set for receipt of quotes or any Amendment that extends the receipt date.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
