The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Allenwood anticipates the issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project titled Replace HVAC Units at FCC Allenwood located at Route 15, 2 miles North of Allenwood, Allenwood, PA 17810.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), FCC Allenwood, located at Route 15, 2 miles North of Allenwood, Allenwood, PA 17810, seeks to award a single contract to a qualified and licensed contractor to provide all labor, materials, and engineering services to include the submittal of a comprehensive 100% Design Package for FBOP approval, encompassing technical material specifications for the following; 1.
Contractor qualified technicians to demolish and properly dispose: a.
One (1) existing 30-ton and one (1) existing 50-ton package HVAC unit to include indoor air handler units (AHU’s), outdoor condensers, & return fans.
Contractor is required to disconnect and lock-out existing electrical to existing units. b.
Existing ductwork shall remain.
2.
Contractor qualified technicians to furnish and install: a.
One (1) new 30-ton and one (1) new 50-ton HVAC unit to include outdoor condensers, indoor AHUs, and return fans.
