PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Boardwalk Replacement project for Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CUVA) in Peninsula, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for removal/demolition of existing structures and replace with new construction of boardwalk at the trail location. We anticipate that work will begin in the spring/summer of 2026. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6426B0005 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1M and $3M TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by April/May 2026 with performance to begin in May/June 2026. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Summit County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: will be addressed in the official solicitation North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237990, and the size standard is $45 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
