What this contract is for

The Amarillo VA Healthcare System has a requirement to replace water heaters and boilers. This will be a brand name or equal requirement and an SDVOSB set-aside. 36C25726Q0786 The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to replace two (2) 40-Gal Water Heaters with One (1) 100 Gal in Building 35 and replace three (3) Boilers in Building 46. Services will be performed at the AMARILLO VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM, 6010 AMARILLO BLVD WEST, AMARILLO, TX 79106-4197 (Potter County). Contractors proposing equal products must provide documentation demonstrating the proposed product s equivalence in functionality, compatibility, and performance. Detailed salient characteristics and submittal requirements for equal products, will be provided in the Statement of Work and Solicitation. Network Contracting Office 17 anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Construction contract. The anticipated method of procurement shall be a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 13 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Period of Performance: The period of performance (POP), for this service shall be 120 calendar days or less after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
