PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Crawford Dam Removal project for Zion National Park in southwest Utah. The Work includes but is not limited to partial removal and disposal of an existing concrete dam and headgate structure comprised of concrete, rock, rebar, regrading of the North Fork Virgin River for a distance of approximately 300 feet, construction of a new intake structure including a fish screen, removal and disposal of approximately 275’ of existing CMP pipe and concrete manhole, installation of approximately 285’ of 18”Ø ADS N-12 pipe (approximately 40’ to be placed within 24”Ø CMP pipe), removal of a concrete turnout box, reseating of an existing 12” flume, approximately 150 feet of boulder embankment rip rap and (Option 1) installation of approximately 350’ of smart ditch SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6426B0008 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by August 2026 with performance to begin in October 2026. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Washington County, UT will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237990, and the size standard is $45 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation.
