What this contract is for
The United States Air Force intends to issue solicitation FA5575-26-B-0002 to solicit proposals for a Firm-Fixed Price contract to design and install an emergency generator with ATS and BP/IS to provide emergency power supply to the Base Power Plant located in Bldg #212, and to install an emergency generator with ATS and BP/IS enclosed in a new transformer vault to provide emergency power supply to the Sewage Treatment Plant located in Bldg #1215. The magnitude of construction for this project is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000 U.S. Dollars. The period of performance for this project is estimated at 730 calendar days. This requirement will be procured using RFO 14 and RFO 36, Sealed Bidding and Construction Contracts. The two-step sealed bidding method will be used. Step one of the two-step sealed bidding instructions will be available on SAM.gov on or after 4 May 2026. Only those offerors that have submitted an acceptable technical proposal will proceed to Step Two and will receive an invitation for bids (solicitation) with instructions. In accordance with the Agreement of Defense and Cooperation between the Kingdom of Spain and the United States of America, any contract resulting from this notice/solicitation can only be entered into with companies authorized to carry out these activities in Spain under Spanish law.
