Pre-Solicitation Notice Invitation for Bids (IFB) Small Business Set Aside NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The District of Columbia Air National Guard intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for commercial construction service, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to perform all operations in conjunction with the efforts to repair B3002 for a total of 10,000 gross square feet. Repairs to include but not limited to renovation of restrooms and locker rooms to comply with safety requirements of having separate clean and dirty areas, renovations to administrative spaces, and replacement of current AFFF Fire Suppression system. All work shall be complete and function as intended. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with applicable drawings, specifications, industry standards, applicable Building and Environmental Codes, Regulations, and Laws. Contractor shall comply with all applicable Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Air National Guard Engineering Technical Letters (ANG ETL) in addition to Federal, State, and local regulations. Project elements include, but are not limited to: Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Suppression, Fire Alarm, Plumbing and Architectural, at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The contract duration will be 365 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for 8(a) Competitive.
