What this contract is for
Region 10 - California-Great Basin of the Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Solicitation for a firm fixed-price construction contract for the Friant Dam Gate Compressor System Replacement. This procurement will be advertised as a Total Small Business set aside. Solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) using FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. The Government anticipates awarding one firm fixed price contract to a contractor who has the lowest overall price. This notice is not an invitation for bid and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and will require 100% performance and payment bonds. Work is located fifteen (15) miles north of Fresno, California in Fresno and Madera counties. The work to be performed is described below.
