The Michigan Air National Guard intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the Construction of comprehensive HVAC upgrades for Building 303. This involves the replacement of 14 existing furnace and heat pump units with new, 5-ton capacity dual-fuel systems, as well as the installation of 5 new 2-ton capacity air conditioning units to enhance cooling capabilities. The contractor will handle everything from demolition and removal of the old units to the installation, commissioning, and integration of the new systems with the existing digital controls. The work will be performed over 365 days while the building remains occupied and operational, requiring careful coordination for utility shutdowns and access to secure areas at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI 48045.All questions or requests for information will be posted to this pre-solicitation notice or incorporated into the solicitation when released.
