THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The purpose of this notice is to determine the availability and capability of qualified SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY for a design-bid-build construction project involving repair and rehabilitation of five tunnels along the Blue Ridge Parkway, from Park Milepost (MP) 336.85 to Park MP 465.69. The project consists of repair and rehabilitation of tunnels 135P, 148, 153P, 155P and 157P along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The work will consist of the construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls at two locations, a deep pavement patch, and two additional pavement patches. The work will include concrete repair/rehabilitation, cleaning and epoxy painting rebar, regrading, drainage work, stone masonry joint repairs, slope grading, milling and resurfacing, pavement markings and other miscellaneous work. The work is divided into bid schedules as follows: Schedule A - Rattlesnake Mountain Tunnel (157P): complete concrete crack repair, prepare and inject with epoxy or hydrophobic polyurethane sealant, Clean and epoxy paint exposed rebar, Remove and repair delaminated, spalled, or damaged sections of the concrete lining, Install full and partial drain chases.
