What this contract is for

This notice is prepared IAW RFO FAR 5.1 and 12.201-1(c)(2). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. The Government intends to solicit this requirement directly from local suppliers IAW RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for firm-fixed price service contract to purchase a one-time service for the performance of a comprehensive sewer network connectivity survey, USAG-Japan. The anticipated award date is on or about 20 Aug 2026 (subject to change). Description of the requirement: The contractor shall provide all necessary services and any additional equipment or materials necessary to perform a comprehensive sewer network connectivity survey. The project manager must possess Gijyutu-shi (equivalent to Professional Engineer) for the subject matter. Minimum qualifications of key personnel shall include possession of land surveyor (Sokuryo-shi) or equivalent. The contractor shall provide copies of the licenses/certificates prior to award. Note 1: This procurement will be performed entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must have valid licenses work in the country of Japan.
