Scope
To address facility workspace capacity requirements at Naval Base Ventura County, forty-one (41) wood-framed modular workspace units have been procured and will ultimately be assembled within a designated facility structure.
The modules are currently stored outdoors in designated staging areas pending final installation.
This requirement is for the procurement, delivery, and on-site assembly of heavy-duty, non-chemical weatherproofing systems to protect the modular units from environmental degradation during temporary outdoor storage, including rain, wind, ultraviolet exposure, and marine moisture in a coastal environment.
The required system is a complete turnkey weatherproofing solution for forty-one (41) stored modular units consisting of thirty (30) 12 feet x 36 feet units and eleven (11) 12 feet x 16 feet units.
The system must be custom-fitted on-site and provide durable, tightly secured, weather-resistant protection from the bottom chassis to the roofline, while excluding the bottom 3-foot poly stilts from coverage.
Individual wrapping is the standard approach; however, grouped wrapping of adjacent modules may be considered where site conditions or unit spacing make individual wrapping impracticable, provided the same level of protection and performance is maintained.
Functionally, the weatherproofing system supports preservation of the modular units structural condition and serviceability during long-term outdoor storage until installation.
The system must be suitable for coastal outdoor exposure, resist UV degradation and salt-spray weathering, withstand high-wind conditions in accordance with manufacturer-approved installation guidance, and avoid damage to the modular units through unapproved penetrating attachment methods.
The requirement also includes full surface p...

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
