What this contract is for

Virtual Industry Day July 29, 2026 at 10:00 am CST The United States Air Force is contemplating a 10 year Multi Award Contract (MAC) for the following F108 containers. Our virtual industry day serves as a vital market research tool to gauge industry capability and interest regarding our upcoming mission requirements. We are hosting this collaborative event to present draft objectives and to gather industry feedback and technical insights that will help us refine and develop a realistic, and successful final solicitation. Specifically, the government will be providing details of the effort, the proposal requirements/evaluation criteria that are being considered, and explain the structure of the MAC. Questions will be allowed at this event. All questions will be recorded and posted with the government response on SAM.gov. The contemplated 10-year MAC will cover the following National Stock Numbers(NSN's): 8145012040851PL AND P/N-856A3339G02; Estimated Quantity 112 EA 8145012040853PL AND P/N-856A3335G03; Estimated Quantity 204 EA 8145012040854PL AND P/N-856A3336G03; Estimated Quantity 138 EA 8145012040864PL AND P/N-856A3337G02; Estimated Quantity 132 EA 8145012040865PL AND P/N-856A3338G02 Estimated Quantity 150 EA

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
