Beaverton Safe Parking RFP
City of Beaverton - City Administration Beaverton, OR
- Status Closes in 28 days
- Amount Amount not listed
- Set-aside None (open competition)
Scope
The City of Beaverton is seeking a qualified operator to manage the Beaverton Safe Parking Program. Safe Parking offers a legal option for people who are experiencing homelessness and living in a vehicle to park and stay in one of five safe parking locations throughout the city while receiving case management from highly qualified professionals with the goal of transitioning to stable housing. Safe Parking consists of a public-private partnership in which the City contracts out with private organizations who have agreed to offer a limited number of parking places on their properties as designated Safe Parking locations. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will award $58,000 for program case management and an additional $15,000 to be used as flexible funds for other expenses (gas cards, minor vehicle repairs, etc.). The City of Beaverton provides additional funds for program infrastructure (port-a-potties, handwashing stations, and storage pods). Qualified applicants will have a strong ability to work with extremely vulnerable populations through a trauma-informed lens while responsibly working in collaboration with the City of Beaverton (including police), other service providers, host sites, surrounding neighbors, and other key stakeholders.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
