What this contract is for
The U.S. Embassy in Panamá has a requirement to purchase CONSTRUCTION & ELECTRICAL MATERIALS. Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. F.O.B. Destination: District of Santa Maria, Divisa, Republic of Panama, Central America. Delivery date: 15 Days after award; as per delivery instructions stated below. Set Aside: No set aside or small business standard applies to this acquisition. NAICS Code: 333998, 335999 Additional Requirements: Warranty: Awarded Contractor will provide US Embassy Panama City with a description of the Standard Warranty conditions and expiration date; applicable for certain items including air conditioners. Specifications/ datasheet: Offerors must present catalog, brand name, manufacturer number and/or specifications of the equipment offered. New equipment ONLY, NO grey market or refurbished products. Items never used nor altered in any way. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) does not commit the U.S. Government to make any award, and the U.S. Government may cancel this RFQ or any part of it. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror. The Government will evaluate complete bids first. If no complete, technically acceptable bids are received, the Government reserves the right to evaluate partial bids and make award on a lowest-priced, technically acceptable line-item basis.
