Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO 20), supporting the Veterans Affairs Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VA SORCC) located in White City, OR anticipates releasing a Request for Proposals in the upcoming months of Fiscal Year 2027.
This notice synopsizes the requirement but is not a solicitation or otherwise a request for pricing.
This does not commit the Government to issue the solicitation or award a contract.
The RFP, if released, will be posted on Contract Opportunities located on SAM.gov only under the identifier 36C26027R0027.
Interested parties are invited to follow this identifier to receive updates.
The RFP will be a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
It is anticipated to result in the award of one (1) firm-fixed-price contract for the entire scope of work.
The scope of work will be to remove existing lighting and install new, more energy efficient lighting in various locations across campus.
More information will be provided in the RFP, if released.
This requirement will be subject to the Buy American Act and the VA Limitations on Subcontracting.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
