Department of the Treasury Departmental Offices & Enterprise Procurement Branch Treasury Common Services Center Acquisition Services Action Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Contract Description The U.S.

Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices & Enterprise Procurement Branch, Treasury Common Services Center - Acquisition Services, intends to award a sole source contract to Thundercat Technologies for a subscription to a commercial-off-the-shelf specialized threat intelligence tool to support the defense and operational resilience of the Nation's critical financial infrastructure for the Treasury’s Office of The Office of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection (OCCIP).

This requirement is for timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence from primary-source, open-source, deep-web, dark-web, illicit-marketplace, messaging, and geospatial sources.

The solution must support financial fraud detection and loss tracking, cyber threat actor tracking, vulnerability exploitation contextualization, cyber and physical incident monitoring, geospatial situational awareness, investigations, alerting, and informed decision-making through Flashpoint Ignite.

The Government has determined that Thundercat Technologies is the only source capable of meeting the Government's requirements because Thundercat developed and owns the propriety and patented hardware, software, and algorithms that are used in the required products and support the services specifically required for this acquisition.

The anticipated award is for a base period of 12-months, with four (4) option period(s).

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
