What this contract is for

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, anticipates issuing a solicitation and awarding a single contract for construction services for the installation of water and electrical utility lines at the Minooka Park C Loop Campground, located at Wilson Lake in Kansas. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this project. This will be a 100% Small Business HUBZone Set-Aside. The work covered includes removal and replacement of existing water and electrical utilities to 31 campsites along C Loop in Minooka Park at Wilson Lake, including the complete removal of aboveground appurtenances, partial demolition and abandonment of belowground utilities as indicated on the Drawings, installation of new water and electrical lines, and all related incidental work. All work must be executed in strict accordance with the approved Drawings and Specifications. Currently, a Pre-Solicitation Conference is not scheduled. If the Government decides to hold a conference, this announcement will be amended accordingly. A site visit is planned for this solicitation. Details regarding the date, time, and location will be provided within the solicitation. Any changes to the site visit schedule will be communicated in the solicitation or through subsequent amendments, as applicable. No options are currently identified for this project. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), open to HUBZone Small Businesses.
