Single Family New Construction - Spring Street

Greenville County - GC Redevelopment Authority Greenville, SC

  • Status Closes in 14 days
  • Amount Amount not listed
  • Set-aside None (open competition)

Scope

The County of Greenville is seeking proposals on behalf of the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority ( GCRA) from qualified residential builders, general contractors, and modular home providers to design, permit, and construct two (2) detached single-family homes on Lots 12 and 13, Spring Street, in the City of Greer, South Carolina. The homes will be sold as affordable homeownership units. The project is funded with HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The contract will be subject to the federal requirements described in this RFP. GCRA will accept proposals for either modular homes or conventional site-built (stick-built) homes. GCRA is not issuing a floor plan. Each offeror will propose its own floor plan, elevations, and construction method that meet the minimum standards in Section 3.3. Modular and site-built proposals will be evaluated on the same criteria, with no preference given to either construction method. An offeror may propose for both lots. GCRA intends to award one contract covering both homes but reserves the right to award each lot separately if doing so is in GCRA’s best interest.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
