The project will repair failing facility components and extend the economic life of the facility by 25 years, providing a modern maintenance facility that enables readiness for the Army Reserve units located in the surrounding area.
The project scope includes the repair of the failing HVAC and electrical systems, the removal of non-structural interior walls to right-size rooms and create open flexible workspaces as required, the repair/replacement/upgrade of light fixtures with code compliant units, the installation of a code compliant fire alarm and suppression system, and the repair of electrical conduit distribution throughout the facility.
The project also repairs the exterior structural elements, replaces the failing standing seam metal roof, and corrects all life safety deficiencies while maintaining the elements of the building's exterior.
The restored facility will meet minimum DOD Antiterrorism standards.
All hazardous materials (HAZMAT) removed as part of the demolition will be disposed of following all state and federal guidelines.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
