What this contract is for
168 CES requests the replacement/upgrade of the existing windows and screens inside Bldg. 3127, third floor command suite and conference room. Replacement windows shall have a minimum Sound Transmission Classification (STC) of 40. The new replacement windows shall be triple pane glass with a thickness of 1-3/4”. The new windows casement/frame shall be fiberglass, and the color selections shall be submitted to 168 CES for final approval prior to purchasing. The new windows shall have the same opening and closing functions/operations as the existing windows. The existing blinds shall be removed during demolition and reinstalled after the new windows have been installed. Paint used shall match any existing interior/exterior colors in the areas of disturbance by window replacement, as needed. The new exterior windows shall have proper reflective window film to match existing windows on the south side of the bldg. 3127.
