Continuing Services for Parking Structure Repairs and Renovations

Scope

The City of Orlando (City) is seeking Qualification Statements from experienced certified and licensed General Contractors for a continuing services contract to provide, as needed, various repairs and renovation jobs at City Parking Structures that often include multiple services as further described in this solicitation. Based on the Qualifications Statements submitted and the evaluation criteria specified, the City will award to one or more firms to execute multiple task orders over the contract term. There is no specific budget for any project as every project is unique. There is no guarantee of any work. These services will support the repair and remodeling jobs that often include renovation of existing parking garage structures throughout the City. The work will address ongoing structural, architectural, and safety-related issues, as well as preventative maintenance and necessary upgrades to City-managed parking facilities. When a Project is identified, the City's Parking Division will contact all awarded Contractors with the Project Specifications Package. All Contractors shall respond to the City with their Project Proposal broken down as described later in this RFQu on the Contractor's letterhead with a total lump sum not-to-exceed price proposal. If for any reason a Contractor is not interested in the Project, the Contractor shall send a "No Bid" letter or email to the City. If a Contractor repeatedly fails to respond to the City’s Project Specifications Packages or supplies multiple "No Bids," the City, at its discretion, may choose to cancel the Contract with the offending Contractor.
