THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for General Construction Services for the Javits Federal Building 33rd Floor Renovation project located at 26 Federal Plaza in New York, NY. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service, Acquisition Project Delivery – Capital Construction Division, is conducting market research: (1) To determine if there are adequate Small Business, HUBZone small business, Women-Owned small business, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business contractors capable of performing the construction services for the requirement described herein. If GSA determines that adequate competition exists, GSA may set the requirement aside for competition among the selected group. GSA is seeking all qualified, interested sources (both Large and Small Businesses) to respond to this Request For Information to provide General Construction Services for the Javits Federal Building 33rd Floor Renovation project located at 26 Federal Plaza in New York, NY. These services are provided for a firm-fixed-price. This project involves the fit-out and modification of Floor 33 at 26 Federal Plaza, focusing on creating a flexible and technologically advanced conference and office environment. The General Contractor will be responsible for executing work across various construction elements, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards and obtaining permits where required. Construction elements include but are not limited to: Code and Life Safety, Architectural, Minor Demolition, Structural, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical, Plumbing, Fire protection, Telecommunications, and Audio and Visual (AV) Systems, Security.
