We are seeking responsible vendors to provide Commercial on-site shredding services, including the locked shredding containers and secure destruction of sensitive documents at 6 United States Census Bureau (USCB) Regional Offices (RO). The anticipated requirement consists of a one-year base period and three (3) one-year option periods. See attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the complete description of the requirement. The purpose of this notice is to obtain additional market research information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small businesses, and large businesses; (2) whether such businesses are HUBZone small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561990 for the proposed acquisition. Responses to this request will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The purpose of this market research is to identify other socio-economic small businesses prior to issuing an unrestricted solicitation or identifying available sources under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule if applicable.
