What this contract is for
The U.S. Embassy London invites responsible contractors to submit quotations for the provision of Vehicle and Driver Hire Services in accordance with the attached Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government intends to award one or more contract(s) to the responsible offeror(s) whose quotation(s) represent the lowest-priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offer(s), in accordance with the terms and evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation. Interested offerors shall review the complete RFQ package, including all specifications, instructions, terms and conditions, and submit their quotations electronically to [email protected]. A virtual pre-quotation conference will be held via Microsoft Teams on August 4, 2026 at 11:00 BST. Offerors wishing to attend must register by email no later than July 30, 2026. Attendance is strongly encouraged but is not mandatory. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted by 17:00 BST on August 6, 2026. Responses to timely submitted questions will be posted on SAM.gov. Quotations must be submitted in English and received no later than 17:00 BST on 14 August 2026. Late quotations may not be considered

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
