**NOTE: This is an update to include the scheduled site visit information**** ***Expected solicitation will be issued soon***** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to solicit and award a single firm-fixed-price Design-Bid-Build (DBB) contract for the construction of a new Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower. The scope of this DBB project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a concrete foundation, steel framing, masonry walls, metal roof, fire detection and suppression systems, HVAC, electrical and telecommunication systems, backup generation, elevator, and all associated utility and site work. The project also requires the demolition of the existing ATC Tower and associated structures. Below is the Site Visit information: Date: July 29, 2026 @ 10:00am. The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 730 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Bid bond will be required with your proposal in the amount of 20% of the offeror proposed price or $3,000,000.00 whichever is less. Payment Bond will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued.
