What this contract is for
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Mitsui Seiki (USA) Inc. 563 Commerce St. Franklin Lakes, NJ, 07417. The proposed contract is to procure the following services: To repair a Mitsui Seiki HU63A 5-Axis Horizontal Machine. This notice is in support of the Fleet Readiness Center-Southwest, San Diego, CA The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North America Industry Classification System Code is 811310 and the applicable business size is $7.5 million. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via- e-mail.
