What this contract is for

The purpose of this amendment is to provide the Government response to Contractors questions. 1. Question: Could you provide a description of how to access the building tomorrow; is the entrance for us on west or east? Response: The entrance is at 850 Pacific Highway which is on the east side of the building. We will have escorts to escort you to the room. You may enter at either side of the building but the east side is preferred. We expect contractors to gather at the gate and wait to be escorted in. 2. Question: Looking at the solicitation synopsis I see parking restrictions are clearly detailed. However, the document indicates that we should allow ample time for the security check process. On the 28th, where do we go to begin the security check-in process? Further, I am bringing along copies of our company SOQ amongst other company material in either a satchel or document carrier. I wanted to check if bringing such material was ok. Finally, I know that the time of this event has changed and I just want to confirm the actual time. Does the event begin at 9 or 10 am? I look forward to your response and the event on the 28th. Response: The time for the CR MASC Industry Day was changed to 9:00 a.m. Attendees will be escorted by NAVFAC SW personnel. You should arrive at the back gate (850 Pacific Highway) to be escorted in. Attendees must be escorted at all times. Please have identification to present to the escort. Bringing a small bag or briefcase should be fine, but please bear in mind space is limited. There will not be space for display of contractor materials. 3. Question: What time is the Industry Day end. Response: The CR MASC Industry is expected to last nearly all day and end about 3:30 p.m. THIS IS AN INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURP...

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
