What this contract is for

This announcement is for the infrastructure repairs to the east side main entrance wall of the National Museum of the United States Army (NMUSA) under the Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) W912CH-25-S-C001, Amendment 01. Interested Parties should review the attachments and the full CSO posting on SAM.gov for submissions and evaluation procedures. ACC-DTA is not obligated to extend a request for proposal or make an award as a result of this CSO AoI; all awards are subject to the availability of funds and successful negotiations. This CSO AoI is not an authorization to begin performance, and in no way obligates the Government for any costs incurred by the Offeror associated with developing a Response. Prior to commencement of any activities associated with performance under this CSO AoI, the Government will issue a written directive or contractual document signed by the Contracting Officer with appropriate consideration established. ACC-DTA reserves the right to modify the requirements of this CSO AoI.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
