This notice of Intent to Sole Source is made to satisfy the requirements of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 5.101.

The U.S.

Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) Little Rock District (SWL) intense to award a sole-source, Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP) Purchase Order to Bradford Marine (cage: 242J0).

This is a supply purchase order for a fully rigged and outfitted Ranger 2510 Bay vessel, motor, trailer, and wrap.

The government intents to request quotes from one source based on the following rationale.

Bradford Marine & ATV - Mountain Home is the only reasonably available commercial source capable of satisfying the Government’s requirements without operational delays and increased life-cycle costs.

Bradford Marine & ATV is the sole authorized dealer and certified warranty repair center for both Ranger Boats and Mercury Marine within a 50-mile radius of the Mountain Home Project Office.

Awarding an unauthorized reseller or procuring components separately would compromise manufacturer warranty coverage, factory rigging certifications, and authorized post-delivery support.

This action will be executed under the authority of RFO 12.102(a) Restricting Competition for acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT).

Bradford Marine & ATV branch in Mountain Home will deliver the boat to the Mountain Home Project Office.

Bradford Marine & ATV is a Small Business under NAICS 336612.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
