In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: Improvements to the Dissolved Air Flotation Unit Process Installation of a new Liquid Sludge Receiving Station adjacent to the existing Sludge Storage Tanks (SSTs), Replacement of piping, valves, vault demolition, and other appurtenances related to two Easterly Sludge Force Main Vaults, Replacement of the existing Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) dry ash pneumatic conveyance system with slurry system, replacement of existing scrubber drain header, and installation of new backup scrubber drain header. Cleaning of sludge, grit, and debris from four (4) of the existing SSTs. Replacement of exhaust fans in four (4) SSTs, Modifications of four (4) SST domes, Installation of air bubble mixing systems in four (4) SSTs. Replacement of existing Maintenance Building Lift Station, Structural repairs to six (6) existing Gravity Thickeners. Replacement of the existing eastern Aerated Grit concrete trailer pad, Installation of a new employee asphalt parking lot. Renovation of Waste Liquor Handling Building including a new bathroom. Replacement of grease piping between Dissolved Air Floatation Unit Process and the Renewable Energy Facility. Pipe removal and replacement in Tunnel 5 including pipe supports.
