What this contract is for

INDUSTRY DAY CANCELLATION: Due to unforeseen mission requirements of the customer, the Industry Day scheduled for 15 March 2018 has been cancelled. If rescheduled, a notice will be posted for all interested vendors to see. We apologize for any inconvenience that has caused. An RFP may be issued in the near future for this requirement. Please continue to monitor FBO. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aerospace Energy Business Unit, as the Department of Defense (DoD) Integrated Materiel Manager (IMM) for Aerospace Energy products and related services, requires delivery of Gaseous Nitrogen (GN2) FOB destination into a Customer owned pipeline in support of Pratt & Whitney at Jupiter, FL. The Contractor shall provide all product, materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment, transportation, energy, and labor necessary for the delivery of GN2. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This notice is for informational purposes only for a new GN2 requirement. Presently, DLA has an Industry Day scheduled on 15 March 2018 at Pratt & Whitney GN2 pipeline site to help acquaint perspective Offerors with this requirement. See the Industry Day attachment for full details.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
