What this contract is for

Sources sought for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price under NAICS code 541330, Engineering Services. This proposed contract vehicle is to provide risk assessment services. Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, titled “Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes,� this announcement constitutes a sources sought synopsis for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN), Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in an effort to derive a contract vehicle to provide risk assessment services. The contractor shall provide the labor and equipment outlined in accordance with the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The anticipated base period of performance of this contract is 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2019. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should reference N6339318RC00096 and shall include the following information in this format: 1. Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and email address. 2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3. Other Government vehicles (contracts) that may issue orders for the required services. (ie. GSA, etc.). 4. An estimated Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM). 5. Size of business- Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned and/or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business. 6.
