What this contract is for

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Puget Sound intends to procure for Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Household Goods (HHG) Area 3, Packing, Crating, Storage and Movement Services. The contract area of performance under this solicitation is the following Washington State counties: Island, San Juan, Skagit and Whatcom. This acquisition encompasses inbound, outbound, intra-area and inter-city shipments. This requirement will be solicited as unrestricted, full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 488991 and the Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million. Anticipate Primary and Secondary awards of Firm Fixed-Price, Requirements type contracts. The Period of Performance will be a Base year with four (4) one-year option periods which may be included at a later date. The anticipated start date is 01 Oct 2018. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 18 July 2018, with offers due on or about 18 August 2018. This procurement will be awarded utilizing commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Electronic submission of quotes to NECO is NOT available at this time.
