What this contract is for

The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract and will utilize procedures with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items with COX COMMUNICATIONS HAMPTON ROADS, L.L.C.. Commander Naval Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA) requires hard-wire cable telecommunications services to various locations at U.S. Naval activities, throughout the Hampton Roads area. The Hampton Roads area is defined as Williamsburg, VA South to Chesapeake, VA. Locations may be working spaces, living spaces, Navy Lodges, pier side and dry-docks, but will not be limited to those areas. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. A complete RFP package will be available on or about 30 October 2018, by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract as supported by a signed Justification for Sole Source. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
