What this contract is for
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Services Network 23 (VISN 23), Minnesota Region has a need for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for construction. Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to make multiple awards for Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite- Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for maintenance, repair, alteration, and new construction services with task orders ranging in value from $2,000 to $10,000,000, with a maximum contract value of $70,000,000 including modifications against the task orders. The MATOC will include a five (5) year ordering period from date of award. The facilities to be covered by the resultant contracts include Minneapolis VA Health Care System, St. Cloud VA Health Care System, and all facility supported clinics and programs within the Minnesota region. NCO 23 anticipates a minimum of eight (8) IDIQ contract awards and shall reserve the right to make more or less than what is anticipated. The applicable NAICS Code under this acquisition is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and $36.5 Million small business size standard, however, other NAICS Codes under the Subsector 237 Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and Subsector 238 Specialty Trade Contractors may be used based upon the individual Statement of Work.
