PURPOSE: The Nashville District (LRN), U.S.

Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Commercial Construction Contract for paving at the Obey River Campground at Dale Hollow Lake.

DESCRIPTION: This project is to be performed at the Obey River Campgrounds at Dale Hollow Lake located near 100 Obey Park Road, Monroe, TN 38573.

Obey River Campground’s area of focus for this project consists of approximately 600 feet of roadway (average approximately 8-9’ wide) and parking area (approximately 150’ x 170’) to include 600 feet of curbing (4,250 sq. yards total) within Obey River Campground.

The purpose of this ERFO project is to remove and replace pavement damaged in storms & highwater events.

Several of the roadway sections and parking areas have significant damage including: alligatoring, longitudinal and transverse (block) cracking, raveling, and shoulder and curbing damage.

Project will include striping parking lot for trailer & single car spaces, replacement of 1 stormwater drain, removing dilapidated wooded stanchions & cable, replace curbing, & widening of road up to 11’ total width.

Disclosure of the Magnitude of Proposed Construction Project: Between $250,000 and $500,000.
