What this contract is for
1) NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN), Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract for DMSS-N training for Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR). The requirement will utilize the procedures of FAR part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures�. 2) This requirement will be solicited with Other Than Full and Open Competition due to the brand-specific nature of the requirement. A redacted brand name justification will be attached to the solicitation. The resulting contract will be for a one (5) year period estimated to commence 20 September 2019 and continuing up to and through 19 September 2020. 3) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611420 with a size standard of $12 million. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) associated with this requirement is U014. 4) A complete RFP package will be available on or about 5 September 2019 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http:// www.neco.navy.mil. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations.
