What this contract is for

UPDATE: The 12 March 2024 Army Contracting Command - Orlando (ACC-ORL) PALT Update session has been postponed. It has been replaced with a Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) led Technical Interchange Engagement with our Industry Partners. Note that this discussion will be more technically focused, vice PALT related. It will include representatives from PEO STRI and the USMC Program Manager, Training Systems (PM TRASYS). It will be held from 1000-1200 in the Tech Grove facility, the same location as the ACC-ORL monthly PALT sessions. It will be a focused discussion on upcoming contract opportunities. PEO STRI will announce upcoming opportunities with CIC-5 as well as future contract structure/language with modernization as it relates to PPP, Interoperability, and Exportability. The intent is to frame this two hours as a discussion with Industry and Government engineers. In the interest of time, if you have already registered for the 12 March 24 ACC-ORL PALT session, either for in-person or virtual attendance, you can consider yourself registered for this PEO STRI session. Please note the earlier start time of 1000. Specific questions regarding this session may be directed to PEO STRI POCs Ms. Christina Manol, [email protected] or Mr. Richard Link, [email protected]. The traditional ACC-ORL PALT sessions will resume on 9 April 2024. Registration for this session will open on 13 March 24 via SAM.gov.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
