In accordance with 40 U.S.C. §§ 1101–1104 (Brooks Act) and the "Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act" (F.S. 287.055), the City of Edgewater (hereinafter, "City") has issued this Request for Qualifications (hereinafter, "RFQ") with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Qualifications from interested, experienced, and qualified firms to provide Planning Consultant Services, in accordance with the specifications stated and/or attached herein. The successful proposer will hereinafter be referred to as the "Consultant". Qualifications will be received until 'Proposal Submission Time , on 'Proposal Submission Date via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGOv. If awarded, a contract to provide these services will be effective on the date the contract is approved by the City of Edgewater City Council (hereinafter, the "Council"), signed by all required parties, and fi led with the City Clerk. As is more fully explained in " Instruction for Proposal – Proposal Evaluation Committee and Evaluation Factors" of this RFQ, an award, if made, will be made to the most qualified proposer(s) whose submission is determined to be the most advantageous to the City, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this RFQ. The City will not use any other factors or criteria in the evaluation of the qualifications received. Pursuant to Section 287.055(4)(b), Florida Statutes, no information related to compensation should be submitted with the qualifications.
